Critique Process

Visual Movement Crit | Web Peer Feedback
RULES:
  • Close laptops and turn handheld devices upside down out of reach until individual critique is completed (read off reflection or speak freely: 2 minutes max)
  • Use devices only when directed and respond to one objective on rubric contributing:
    • [A] 1 SPECIFIC SUCCESSFUL ASPECT of the work 
      [B] 1 SPECIFIC SUGGESTION OR QUESTION FOR THE ARTIST towards further developing the piece or how to continue ideas into another project (sketchbook / concentration)
  • DO NOT use simple words such as love, like, hate, good, bad, awesome, cool
  • DO USE specific descriptive words such as effective, successful, ornate, organic, conceptual, linear, positive and negative space, visual movement, abstract, realistic, non objective art
 PROCESS:   OPEN BINDER TO ASSESSMENT PAGE FOR LIST OF APPROPRIATE VOCAB
1) TRIAL: Go to TodaysMeet.com/RBAPART, type name to join, + listen for instructions
2) CRITIQUE FEEDBACK: Log ont TodaysMeet.com/RBHSmovement
3) Close laptop/turn over and push away phones. Listen to sample crit for 2 minutes
4) When prompted, activate devices and respond to one objective including 1 POSITIVE + 1 SUGGESTION or REFLECTIVE QUESTION
5) Close up devices when finished and wait for next artist

SKETCHBOOK REFLECTION: You will be able to access comments through the link above for one week. Review  your section tonight and reflect on your inspiration board for the project in your sketchbook responding to what you learned and how you will apply it to refine this piece and those in the future.
